WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT BEING A MENTOR
“One of my most important jobs as an officer and leader was developing the technical skills, leadership style and decision making processes of the junior soldiers and officers I worked with. Some of my proudest achievements are of seeing those individuals develop into outstanding young people who are achieving great things both in and out of the Army. At the same time, I benefited enormously from some excellent mentors: soldiers who kept me honest and grounded, officers who showed me how to lead. Even though I have left the Army it is still really important to me to help develop the skills of those who have volunteered to serve our nation. I’m looking forward to working with as many people as possible through WarriorU.”
